Shortnose?, Florida spotted??, Hybrids? wha??

They are not alligator gars, this is a gator

i would say fl but it depends on the parents and what area they were collected from to how the pattern develops

yes, now i know that these are not gator gars... or longnose gars. Thinking either florida, or spotted? a Southern Spotted gar?? Anyone think they possibly could be hybrids? hmmm??... these gars belong to a buddy of mine, and he's asking what exact sp. they are? He seen a couple of my old gars, and wanted some w/ exact same patterns... says these look kind of different??
