I own an alligator gar about 20-24inches. He is in a pond with 850-900Gallons. I keep Guppies, A tropical fish(forgot its name but its tiny), Small Bass (2inch) mom thought he was a guppy and put him in there and His feeder goldfish. I feed him tilapia fillets and feeders. About a week ago he stopped eating Tilapia and slowed down with the feeder fish too. I'm guessing it is because the weather isn't as hot anymore. The problem is I keep finding dead goldfish everyday. He just bites them and leaves them to die. He looks healthy and acts normally except for the killing and not eating. Any ideas as to why he is behaving this way?
