Hey all. Yeah Ive got me a soon to be monster alligator gar. Hes only about 5 inches yet but yes of course he will grow. The only problem I have with him so far is that he hovers towards the top of the tank while the rosies are at the bottom and he wont go down to eat them. Does anyone think that this is for the fact that i have a lot of decor, about 10 plants, two rocks, a waterfall, and a large piece of driftwood? Less is more perhaps when coming to gars? let me know if any of you have any experience. Thanks!

Yeah I think I am gonna take out the majority of stuff. I'll probably drop off my Cichlids at the lfs. If anyone wants to come to Mchenry County IL area, let me know if you would like to pick up my two electric yellow cichlids, and my two african cichlids. Thanks!
