the gar may bite at the ray and the oscars may beat on the gar. i personally wouldnt do it, but it's up to you.

Yeah with the gar being smaller than the O's I probably wouldn't chance it.

i agree...I had oscars w/ my gar and they really beat on him.

well my gars ate my oscars...so I guess its a lose lose situation:ROFL:
but on the other hand, they dont mess with my other cichlids, and my other cichlids just mess with eachother.. so i dunno

what do you guys think of peacock bass w/ gars? I see recks has a few of them w/ his gars....whats you take on it....guys and girls?

so i got to 2 gars for free and threw um in there they were bout the same size but i guess i should stuffed my Oscars first cuz one instantly got eaten and i scoped the other one out lol opps good thing they were free

lol from my experiences id make sure the gars are bigger and introduce them first but the p bass cant be to small cuz the gar could eat the bass too

I say no, cause gars are sometimes slow eaters and may not get the food in time from the Pbass.. but other have done it no problem..

first how big are these gars you are putting in the tank?
and second are they even REAL gars? And third havn't you seen your oscars eat? Doesn't that tell you or give you an idea of what they can and cannot eat? :screwy:
