i know this will probably annoy some people, but at least it's a "full" tank shot of GDII. this tank will be undergoing some moderate changes over the next couple weeks (some addition, some subtraction), so more pics will follow after those are complete. i at least have been able to get back onto a regular water change schedule as of last night (managing gars in 3 different labs has taken its toll on the home fishes).--

if i know sol's tanks (and i stalk his tanks quite a lot) they're probably real.

thanks for the comments guys, i wish i could take more shots, but just don't have the time right now, and would rather wait until some of the transitioning is done with anyway.

the plants in the tank are a combination of real and fake plants...the fake plants are left over from some experimenting i did last year with cover, etc...used to have a lot of live plants in the tank but the AUL eventually ate ALL of them (java fern, java moss, water sprite...everything ). put some java moss from the other tanks in and will see how that goes.

plants also really have to take root/hold in this tank as there is a good amount of current from the dual overflow returns (try to optimize circulation, but with plenty of calm areas for the gars).

two big spots (18", ~22") just recently went into the tank as well, so it looks quite full right now (but all gars are getting along well at this point).--

I swear that FLG is in the same spot at all times... Maybe an inch forward or back but it never seems to leave that spot. Good to see the SPG adapting well.
