this is my alligator gar http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1JsOACUQgvI last winter i put him in that aquarium which wasnt a problem. However that was when he was about 5 or 6 inches. Right now he is about a foot long and will probaly be 18 or 19 inches by the end of this fall. So i was thinking instead of having to buy a giant aquarium i could buy a baby pool about 500 gallons and put this giant netting over it so the gar couldnt jump out. I would put it in my basement and i could feed him his minnows chubs crayfish and goldfish like i do regularly and hopefully he would have enough swimming room to still grow like normally. i could put him back in the pond in early spring. I am going to start posting alot more videos of him eating on youtube so please stay connected and maybe subscribe.
I figured if i get more views on youtube i would post more videos of the gar but if i dont get many views there is kinda no point.
