Just make sure its not a gator and the aro is bigger than the gar.. coz gars don't like silver fish for some reason..

i hope that i can find a Florida(or spotted Gar)they will be as close as i can get to the same size.

ive kept my spotted, around 18", with two different silver aros and never had any problems. With my first large silver, they seemed to actually buddy up, and i recently aquired a very small, about 8-10 inch aro and the spotted has been great with him for about 5 months.

I agree with everyone. You should be all right as long as you stay away from jars and gators.

I got 3 13" spotted gars with a 24" silver no problems at all
