dont use it they have even done studies that say that humans shouldnt drink out of hoses because of the chemicals that are in them.. but some people use them so its at your own risk... i just spent the money and got a 75' python it can reach every tank in my house from my kitchen sink.. its awesome i can even vacumm my gravel in the basement ponds.. it wil still suck it up the stairs and out into the drain

i use my garden hose. but it is old.. really old.. maybe 3 years old already. never had any problem..but again.. it was given to me by my uncle who used it for his construction business and he just left it with me. new garden hose smells like it has oil.. or fuel in it... i would try to be safe than sorry.:)

I use a white vinyl hose that's made for RVs, campers. Its drinking water safe. They are cheap as well. It uses regular garden hose connections. They are sold everywhere. Walmart, Lowes, etc.

I bought a garden hose specifically for my tanks. I haveonly used it for the initial fill but i havent had any problems. 5 tanks and running.
