it is true chicken liver with garlic is better than plain chicken liver for catfish
if u know any other good blue catfish baits let me know

i caught a 40lb blue cat on the tail of a crappie, blue cat like frash cut fish the best. channel cat will go more for chicken liver, and im sure that garlic will help attract them

Tried it with and without! Without gralic works for me only caught one little channel with the garlic. But what has been working well for me is greens or gils cut into 2-3 inch chunks and soaked in the liver.

Liver generally seems to be for smaller channels, while fresh cut bait (sunfish, carp, sucker, shad, etc) seems to catch all sizes of channels and blues. Flatheads mostly go for live fish.
