Garra Rufa's w/ white bumps on thier head

Anyone else have any of these adult sized?

I have a few and since they have grown bigger white bumps have started to appear around thier faces, doesnt look like flukes and doesnt look like it bothers them much so i almost think its normal, but havent seen any pictures online of adult sized Rufas around 4-5 inchs.

It's a normal development on Garra sp. as they reach sexual maturity. On some species the dots become large prominences.

Right on! thanks alot, the rest of the internet lacks info on these guys...Unless i want to use them to suck on my feet that is.

You would not be able to see flukes with your naked eyes well enough unless you have microscope access with you.
