Nice.
I keep my Garra in old water, just top off what evaporates. A couple of large water changes two days in a row with cool water always (!) trigger spawning. Very successful and easy way to multiply your stock. Try it out one of these days.
. I posted about that on our sister site, Aquariacentral. You should be able to easily find my thread, I only started a few on that site.
Temp is a steady 24 C ... And then change 80% water two days in a row, and bring it all down to 16-18°C.
It's a planted tank, and I let it go without water change (!) (Only top it off) for at least 6 months.
Then the cold fresh water comes in, and they spawn.
I should say they used to spawn. The fish are now 12 years old and no longer reproducing, it seems.
