Hello! Can anyone give me some advice because i am tinking of putting my alligator gar together with my rtg. what do you guys think?

Sounds like a bad idea to me.

The alligator gar may beat up the RTG or vice versa depending on the size of the two fish.

hmmm. den what if my rtg is times 2 the size of my gar?

^definitely not, the gator gar will outgrow and likely kill the rtg. maybe not now, but definitely in future

I would not recomend trying this. I have done this combo myself with my smallest gator gar and a green. That particular gator gar has been my slowest growing of my group and still outgrow the aro in no time and was starting to get very nippy with all the other tankmates.
