i have 2 hujeta gars (not true gars). they are 5'' and in a 29gallon. i here they get 28''. they have been in the 29 for 4 months now. if i move them to my 75 will they continue to grow. mine seem to have stoped growing. also are there any TRUE gars i can put in a 75 gallon.

No true gar can be kept in a 75 for life. Hujetas are not true gar, so any questions about them should be posted in the "other monster fish" forum.

they should be fine, largest ive seen was 12-14" which I think is max for them, never heard they get 28"??
but you should be fine with that 75 for a while if not life

ok thanks for the help

to give a short blunt answer no true gar can live in a 75.... look in gar like characins or needle fish
