gars in a pond

I have a really big outdoor pond in my backyard, and have several KOI fish in it, they are approx 40'' in size; could I put florida gars in it?

hmmm i think the bigger kois can stress the gars
plus they eat alot and will beat the gar in competing for food at that size if youre feeding food sticks

and also they have different diets
