Are Gars illigeal in Oklahoma...Like Florida Gar...Spotted Gar....Alligator Gar??

Four US gar species are Native to Oklahoma. I'm not sure what they fall under as far as Fishing for them goes. Check with Fish and Game and see what regulations exist.
I know I can catch aligator gar but I want a Florida gar and I do not think there is any in Oklahoma though. I just wonder is it illegal to own a florida gar? THe reason I ask is I have never seen one at a pet store here. My LFS says they are restricted, i think he is wrong but not sure,.
There is no restriction on them that I'm aware of. It would be a rather stupid law if it did exist as Spotteds are common in Oklahoma and the two can hardly be identified apart at a typical hobby size without a great deal of training.
