gars legal in australia?

Hey just wondering if anyone can tell me if gars are legal in australia, if so what ones, what their max sizes are and if anyone has any in australia, roughly how much you would expect to pay for one? thanks..

My impression is that they are legal if they are in the country, but illegal to import. There are plenty here for sale though.

ya...going price for gator now is around $350+...but theres one for $325 which is the cheapest and biggest ive seen.

Spotted now is abit more expensive due to not much aroun...expect to pay $400+
