Gars with Datnoids?

I was wondering if a Gar (probly a spotted or what ever is common in stores) would be a suitable tankmate for:

6 datnoids
1 Leopard Ctenopoma
1 Tiger Oscar
1 Silver Aro
1 Common Pleco

The tank will be a 220, what do you guys think?

the pleco is expendable...

asides frm the datnoid, everything else is a bad idea, size also plays a part. i don't know what a leopard ctenopoma is thou

it should be fine with the aro and dats (depending on size). i would avoid the CA/SA cichlids and pleco though and i have no idea about the climbing perch.

Yeah, just watching my gar since I've had him I think the oscar would be a poor tankmate. I do have cichlids with mine, but they are either small (convicts) or peaceful (uaru, chocolate). I could see an oscar either harassing your gar or hogging up all the food (or both).
