After many years of fishing and keeping fish, I just decided to keep a gar in one of my tanks, and im glad i did. They are great fish to watch, and now that ive had one for awhile i find they operate just like other fish, when it comes feeding time, as soon as it sees me coming toward the tank, it starts acting just like a puppy, swimming fast in circles up and down, Dont take them long to learn where the food comes from.
