Can anyone give me a positive ID on these? I've heard spotteds, floridas, shortnose and alligators.

Both fish came from the same source. I'd say it's more then likely that the two gars are the same species.

Nice pattern on those guys. Dont think either of those is a shortnose though, my shortnose had... well... a shorter nose
