Anyone ever have or had suspected GBD? Can the fish be saved or are they permanently screwed or die?

I have suspected GBD based on all the symptoms and ruling out most other things and talking with my hatchery guy.

But I can't get any info on survival rates or even IF they survive what will they turn out like.

THey are 15 day old Rainbow trout alevins almost at the first feeding age.

Thanks.

GBD can occur when using sand filters. Affects the fish when the filter gets clogged and air starts to compress into small bubbles. The small bubbles enter their blood stream causing problems.
I know of a koi pond that experienced it. Kois did not die but swims funny now.

I have seen this in sunfish and it usually self corrects, but with goldfish they always swim on top afterwards
