how would i train my 6-7" GATF onto market shrimp?

Try starving it for 4 days. Then try putting market shrimp in. If it doesn't eat, remove the shrimp and continue starving it at least for a week. Then put the shrimp in again. If it still doesn't eat, feed it live-food and start starving it again.
But please remember that some GATF just don't accept non-live food at all, just in case.

IMO, The Goliath is much more likely to take Hikari Aro stix. That's what i feed my 15'' one. I think it's something about the way they move atop the water. Shrimp is a long shot at best. You'll need something that moves alot.(all most look alive) There like no other fish i've kept. lmk how it goes with what ever work's. GL

ok thx im starving it everyday i cuta few pieces for it

You may want to give freeze dried krill a try also, my 6.5" goliath almost gourges itself on them, as soon as I toss a small handfull in, it's at the surface snatching krill with calculated gusto! I feed every third days. I myself may give frozen market shrimp a try too, I just have to find a way to keep the mrkt. shrimp at the surface long enough. But anyway, GL with feeding and careing for your g-tiger.

you train it by feeding market shrimp to its tankmates and it will learn to eat it. Only feed them nothing but market shrimp until the gatf is hungry enough to think to itself why it's not eating while others are chowing down and munching on food.

lol the rest of its tankmates eat it but im trying, are GATF mid dwellers?

mines bottom-mid
