I tried to introduce my GATF w/my Vitattus since he's the same size as my Forskalli but the Vitattus wanted to jump him in .......... didn't want to risk it so I had to pull back out. He's back in a grow out tank..

that was scary i bet Joey....get that sucker bigger than the others then put him in.....I suffered a bit of bad luck too I am now down to 2 baby ATF ... need to find more...

Yea, he's kool. It happens all the time with my Vitattus but since this was the GATF I did not want to take any chances. Since I have a Forskali that's the same size as the GATF I wanted to try it out. The Forskali got checked also in the beggining but they easily replaced. The GATF is not
Back to the powerfeeding in the growout tank. I'm sure once the GATF reaches the Vitattus size it will be a whole differen't story.

Joe im growing them out right now in a 75 i got the dithers but this guy seemed doomed from the moment he came in .... the other two just fed so theyre ok ......they eat everyday and i leave a steady supply of guppies in there so they can eat throughout the day. Dithers are 4 bala and 2 tin foils ...hoping some tarpon show up soon ... from the looks of it they work great ...

Bro, If you plan on growing out a school of ATF's I'm afraid 75 Gallons is way too small.
Regardless of how many dithers you put. I would suggest at least a 180 for a small group of 3-4". Even that may be too small. Everyone I've met who's tried to raise a group in a 100 or so gallons ended up in failure even myself. I would regroup if I was you and start your pond you were telling me about and then start your school. You'll have a better success rate.
And yes Tarpons are awsome Dithers for ATF's here are 2 of my 12"...
Joey thats temp im gonna build a 300 gallon growout here in a week or two. The pond Idea needs to be researched more as we have hurricanes and they may destroy the pond. Since it will be above ground. I can build the tank in a few days. Just need to know if im gonna get more ATF or not to grow out anytime soon so I dont build a bigass tank needlessly....theyre out of season so well see.
