GATF PH?

Any have any idea what there tolerance is to PH? Mine is in 7.0-7.5 At the moment.. Just wondering if they woud handle 8.0 Plus? thanks

I would have thought it would be ok, they do come from the congo and in africa where the PH is around 7.7.-7.8.

But ive got my ATF in a PH closer to 6.5. LOL i imagine that they would tolerate it

Alot of the fish that come into the stores from the Congo are lower ph softer water fish but since the GAT moves throughout the area and thrives in the raging water sections I would think that they stand a range of neutral to alkaline water.

i would think its ok.... my armatus likes high ph...

GATF can stand ph of 6 up to almost 9.
they are usually found in areas with 7-8 ph but do travel to areas of lower ph.
my VATF is in 6.7 and doing great.
