Gatf tank mates?

Im picking up a 180g for my 4" gatf on sunday and wondering what others are keeping with their atfs. Just looking for something to add so the tank doesnt look so empty with just a baby gatf.
I hope to accuire a payara or two to add once hes bigger in the future

Whatever that doesn't fit in its mouth (and vice versa) would work...

I've found tin foil barb works good as a dither and teacher fish for when you want to train off live. I've tried Bala sharks as dithers before but they still fought and the sharks ended up as food.

Already off live eats krill, shrimp and talapia peices. I throw in some minnows once a week or so. They dont last long haha.
I was thinking balas and red tails or something along those lines. Never thought of tin foils

Hi Dude

So far so good got 3 tigers 2 vitts one G, as already mentioned tinfoil barbs are great (2), so are mackerel barbs i have 4 x royal hill trout and 2 x standard mackerel barbs, 2 x apollo sharks, also have 2 x red tail caracin. 2 x rusty plecs keep the tank clean and the dwarf goonch for a little xtra on the bottom... good luck
