Here's my GATF oberyn. got him at 2.5 last December (2014) after around 14 months, he's now 12-13" or a little bit more:)

He's not as skittish but i still can't measure him because I'm afraid he'd dart and hurt himself. He's housed with my 14" Goonch and other bichirs.

Hope he grows more so that he could go to my 3k tank and play with my atlantic tarpon lol.

Perfect specimen :) ! Any tips on how you managed to avoid him hitting the glass and bruising his snout?

I've done only 2 things for this. First is that i made all the sides black save for the front viewing panel. The other is that i grew him out with a bunch of tinfoils. He eats pellets and has become way way waaaaay less skittish :)
