gatf with baby gatf

i have a 7.5 inch gatf would it be okay if i put a baby gatf around 2.5-3 inchs would my other gatf eat him and i also have a 6 inch idno datnoid and a 6 inch bircher

I'm pretty sure the baby would end up inside one of the other fish. I wouldn't do it.

I had a 6" with a 8 and 10" gatf. I found that there was more fighting between the big and medium one. I think that one that small would end up as dinner tho. Or get wounded real bad. I wouldnt go smaller then 5" with the one u have. And if urs is only on feeders id leave it by its self till u get it on pellets or frozen

I say just leave it in a grow out and feed more than the others to increase growth rate. After adding a few inches, add it during a water change.

The cichlids would likely harass it mercilessly. Cichlids only work with ATF when the tigers are a good bit bigger.

+1, look online for a cheap temporary tank to grow him out a bit. Power feed that atf until he hopfuly catches up in size to the other atf.

im either going to get a chep tank and raise him or sell all of my fish and start all over with new fish

With Tigers you really need to tailor everything for them first. They've got certain unique requirements and growth rate different than most fish. But they're well worth it.
