OH...IO
Just a quick update on my gatf I've had for a week now (thanks to seppii for bringing him to me)

All 4 of the odoe pikes seem to get along fine with him. This was my biggest concern as there are so many threads advising not to mix ATF with odoe but it seems to be a non Issue.

The previous owner had only fed live so I've been working on getting him on tilapia. Success started yesterday with him grabbing one piece and now today he quickly grabbed 3 while I was watching.

I'll post up some new pics after I fatten him up.

Thanks for the update!!!

Would love to see some pics!

What are the sizes on these guys? What kind of current are you running? These guys are in your 750 right?

I so want to give this a try now. My Tigers NEED a bigger tank, and my Odoe have one, but I've been scared to mix them. Especially since Odoe seem to hate current and ATF seem the opposite.

The odoes and tiger are all 10-11" maybe 1 is 12" now hard to tell. The odoes are double the tigers girth at the moment but I think I can fix that.

They're in the 750. Against conventional wisdom I have somewhat low current only using an iwaki pump. Both the odoe and tiger stay away from the flow although I've found it useful to drop food into the moving water so the fish give chase. The only fish I've ever had that seems to love to put his face in the current was a large Niger cat.

Can't wait to see more on this. Even in the wild they're well documented as being intolerant of one another. I will be watching this with great interest.

The aquarium environment is a lot different that the wild of course. I'm sure having plenty of food to go around helps.

They will be coming. Youre right I don't post pics very often but honestly my picture taking is pretty subpar
