hey. i have an alligator gar but its snout apparently is gettin really f*cked up. i thought it was the wolf at first, so i moved the gar to a sepearet tank by itself. but by the morning its snout was all f*cked up. it looks all tore up. can anyone tell me why? thanks in advanced

hahah ya i think its cuz theres not enough room in the tank so the gars ramming itself into the tank
i ono..i dont think dats it..it looks more like its tore up..den bruised from banging..it looks more severe..its on the brink of death i think..ehh..if dis 1 dies imma go get a short nose from u tong
well if the the tanks to small and he dont have alot of room he could be hiting things in ur tank. hwt kinda decorations do u have in your tank? how big is the gar? what are the messurments of ur tank? and how big is the wolf compaired to ur gar?
well i seperated the gar from the wolf thinking it was the wolf doing it, but apparently after i moved the gar to the tank by itself, the conditions got worse. so i believe its not from other fishes snapping.
don't give up. provide him an empty tank with proper water conditions. Melafix/Primafix it regularly. you can't let a gator just die like that!
