Hi all, I'm thinking of getting a gar to comm with my rays and HB aro. Any opinions on which gar should I get? 
Gator gar or Florida gar?

they dont get huge are cheaper then alligator gars and i just like the look of florida gars and aros together
1. Read the Sticky about Gar tankmates. Aros and Gars usually don't work out. (I have had both Gator and FL gars with my Silver Aro. There were no issues with either gar-aro combo. The Gators however outgrew my tank and I had to get rid of them. The FL Gars are still with the Silver Aro and doing well.)
2. if you still choose to get a Gar, get a Florida Gar as they are "Monsters" yet of a manageable size and temperament. Also, IMO, they look much better than Gator Gars.
3. What's with you guys from Singapore calling people "Bro"?!
