gator gar trying to eat aro!!!

Today i walked into my room and i was like wtf, my 9 inch gator gar had my 10 inch silver aro in its mouth. I dont know if it was trying to eat it or what. are gator gars usually this aggressive? the aro is way too big for it to eat so i dont know why its trying. the aro is like an inch and a half tall but the gars mouth isnt that wide. And those teeth on the gator gar....they left their mark. what should i do? i think ima have to let one go...

its kinda like goin to jail, you cant pick your roomate, no gars usually wont attack something that big, its a minnow muncher, id say they just dont like eachother, i had a gar that got along with fish much smaller than him
 
yea ill probably get rid of the gar. i was just surprised but i guess i shouldnt be cuz its a gator.
