Gator gar vs AGTF HELP

Is it possible to put 4" gator gar and 5" AGTF in the same tank
the tank is 60 gal (temporary, will be moving them into bigger one)
I love both and can decide which one to get, it would be great if they can live peacefully together
 
gar like to shred small particularly silvery fish... i wouldnt trust the gator not to try and shred the gatf. ANd notmsure the gator would survive the gatf defending itself... imo youre gonna lose one or both... either way... and i wouldnt put it past a hungry gatf not to make a go for the gar.
 
oh and gar are illegal to own in california... so there ya go.
