They look like a cheapo version of visi-therm stealths. The claim to be "fully submersible and indestructible." Googling around I did not find a review but they are made by penn-plax which I've never had problems with. I was just wondering if anybody has used them. At $14.99 for a 250watt I figured it's worth a shot but wanted to see what other people had to say about them before I ordered a whole bunch.

I've never seen or used one but for a few bucks more why not go with a good heater that you can trust like a Jager. You don't want to skimp on a heater. I personally don't think highly of either Penn Plax or Marineland, their quality seems questionable although Marineland seems to be making good advancements in some areas.

Marineland Stealth Heaters are very nice, an excellent heater for ray tanks. The guardians are made of a metal casing
which like glass can still get hot and cause heater burns.

I prefer marinelands visi-therm stealth over my jagers.

One of these heaters poached my friend's fish nicely. They tasted great, btw! J/k, lol. You get what you pay for.

heaters arent the place to try and save money... one faulty cheap heater will cost u alot more in the long run i only use stealths and the new fluval E series which are both alot of bang for your buck:) fluval has digital disp which i love and comes with a heater guard and looks really nice!
