So I bought some beef heart to try and to fatten up my Del and new Ornate. How often should I give them the beef heart (my del wont touch anything other than blood worms) But my sene, del, and ornate love it. I feed them the blood worms first and wait until theres nothing left before I give them beef heart. Heres some pictures of them now.

i'd feed it 2 times a month max if that, it's not recommended for polys cause they don't normally eat mammalian foods. IMO though it makes a really good grow out food. I feed it every once in a while (which is like 1-2 times in about 3-4 months) just to throw something different in there, and stir up the feeding order, or i use it as a substitute when i am out of something.

for picky eaters if you absolutely have to get them off of the bloodworms i'd starve them, but your del seems to be pretty small so i wouldn't worry about it right now. However since you have others that aren't picky eaters that is a major bonus. What happens is you just feed regularly (or you'd feed what you want to del to start eating) and from there it's pretty much monkey see monkey do, and if that does work then IME i go with the saying if they're hungry and there is food in the tank they'll eat it. As far as other foods the only one i can think of is tilapia. You could get some massivore and cut it into small pieces.

Ill pick some up tomorrow and see how that works, which one would you try first? I like feeding blood worms though because it feeds my other fish but I don't mind feeding more than 1 type of food.

i honestly would try the massivore first because once they're on pellets you can get some really good stuff for them. IMO though it doesn't really matter
