GB Fader Laid Eggs

Couple of days ago.. my GB Fader laid eggs after i removed the divider.. but i dont see the male do his thing only once or twice where he goes into the little pot.. but until today, they are still peaceful with each other.. the male and female GB. the female is always in the pot the Male guards the pot ouside.. everytime i try to clean the tank.. he attacks whatever i put in when it nears the pot.. u guys reckon it worked? very cool.. this is my first time doing it.

and this is the picture of the eggs after 3 - 4 days.. some have turned white but most not white.. what do you guys think?

Should have hatched by now. Don't wait too long. Will start fouling water

The eggs will hatch in three days if your water is 82 degrees but if your water is colder then that it can take four days to hatch. It looks like the area she laid the eggs in might have been hard or impossible for your male to get to them. If he couldn't rub his stomach on them he most likely was not able to fertilize them. If they all turn white I use my gravel cleaner to suck them out. The female won't like it but it can help prevent her from getting sick.

Well the male could access the eggs ive seen him a few times inside.. So maybe i should wait and see if all the eggs turn white? Atm only a few is white.. Ive switched off the main filtration and have a sponge filter up

With your main filter off I hope you are using a mature sponge thats been running in another healthy tank for several months. Other wise you are going to send your tank into a mini cycle which has a high chance of killing any baby that hatches.
