I searched and couldn't find what I'm looking for.

So I know I'm suppose to use the GE 1 silicone the window/door version.I've sealed tanks before, but I saw this at Home Depot today.
It was GE 1 WATERPROOF silicone. 100% and everything and it's clear. It says it's for windows/doors/attics/basements.

It doesn't say it has the Bioseal in it and other mildew/mold inhibitors. It does say "not for use below the water line or aquariums". But I'm sure the GE 1 window/door version probably says the same thing.

This was like 3 bucks compared to almost 5 so I thought if it works the same then I'll just buy this stuff. It's only .2 ounces less also.

Thats what I always use. The GE 1 is pretty much the same thing as there aquarium silicone before they stopped making it. Ive heard its the same from a lot of other people. As long as you grabbed the blue print tube, you should be in business.

Should be fine. I think they put that on there to get you to buy the aquarium stuff that they sell.

I opted for the "GE I" over the "GE I waterproof" because the wp said not for use where FDA approval is needed. Plus the regular GE I was a buck cheaper.
