gecko pet store run.

im going to the petstore today. im going to get all my gecko stuff. just a recap of what i need to get.
heat lamp
repti carpet
foot bowl
water bowl
2-3 hiding spots
i think thats it anything else?

ice berg Lettuce is bad for just about any animal. what kind of gecko are you getting and why in gods name would you get repticarpet? easily the WORST "substrate" I have ever seen or had the displeasure of working with.

If your going to use a product like "repti carpet" your better off just using news paper imo.

No need for that astro turf crap, go with a natural substrate. Also, crickets, mealworms, earthworms, romaine lettuce things of that nature for food. Gecko's will dine mainly on a insect diet I believe, might be hard or impossible to get them to eat vegies.

They should have a natural earth substrate or pine chips, something of that nature you can use. Will prob be cheaper than the repti carpet and easier to clean and/or replace.
