Just wanted to show some updated pics of my Lygodactylus williamsi (often called Electric or Neon Blue Geckos). The tank I keep my trio in is an 18"x18"x24 Exo Terra that is pretty heavily planted. Most of the plants have been in here for about 6 months so they've filled out nicely. Please excuse the water spots on the glass (I have nasty hard water) and the poo. These guys have a bad habit of going on the glass and plants. A couple days a week I take a spray bottle and wash it off everything. Anyways, enjoy the pics! ;)

About 4 months ago I lost my first female from the original pair I bought. She got a parasite and died pretty suddenly. A few weeks ago I bought 2 new females to replace her (thanks Eric!). They are extremely tame and don't shy away when I'm around the tank which is nice because my wussy male gecko is finally learning that I'm nothing to be afraid of. One of the females is a nice light green while the other has more of a copper coloring.

And here's the male. These pictures don't do him justice. He's much more blue than what my camera captures. Plus, he hates to pose for the camera. As soon as I go to focus he runs from the red laser and turns a darker shade of blue. I'll do my best to get some updated pics of him as soon as he gets use to my camera.

very nice, i love the set up too but do you ever get to see them in there? it seems like they would always be hiding

Great looking geckos!
Your enclosures are always top notch.

Thanks man. I try to keep all my setups as natural as possible.

Thanks. Yep, since they're a diurnal species they're almost always in plain view, sunning them selves on the sticks near the top of the cage.

Are you still breeding your cresteds or have any hatchlings right now?

I haven't bred my cresteds yet but in a few months I'm going to. They're all just about a year old.
