gender difference in endli

I got two endlies about 12-13" each and about 1.5" around in the middle.
One is visibly more long and slender between the "hind feet" fins and the tail than the other thats more short an stocky. Do males and females differ in their general body shapes or is it just the individual fish's variance?

Check the Anal Fin and check the poly anatomy sticky the sex is the same in all Bichir species
