Gender help?

Males are brighter with more black.. Females smaller and light yellow, sometimes almost white.

You can tell from a group of juvies when all together.. The males and dominant ones will color fastest and grow quickest. Never can be to sure, but from the size and color of juvies you can sex them from the group.

Your welcome ;)

Unfortunately that's not always true. Quality yellow labs are impossible to sex based on looks alone. I was actually over at a friends a while back admiring his 'subdominant male' yellow lab (an F1 from my own WC stock), only to return a few hours later to see his 'male' with a mouthful of eggs. She was even acting like a male, chasing others around and everything. The only sure-fire way to sex yellow labs is by venting.

hmmm. well thats weird but ill have to keep my eyes open because right now they both look like males but who knows now. thanks
