Not sure about cichlids and breeding.

They are both from the same genus (Andinoacara so breeding is a possibility), but why would you want to create a mutt, by breeding 2 different unique species together, to create an unidentifiable one?
It'd be like breeding two valuable AKC "breeds" of dogs together, in order to get a worthless one.
