Gender?

I’m new to the forum. I’ve found great information already. Want to see if y’all could help determine the gender on my EBJD.

Welcome to the forum!
Electric blue Dempseys are a lot harder than the regular ones, as many of the determining traits have been lost.
Venting the fish (or catching them breeding) is the only way to know for sure.
The side profile looks like it could be male, but again most of those traits don’t translate well into the ebjd’s.
