general advice for jaguar cichlids

sorry i dropped the keyboard and didnt realize i posted.
i got 3 jagsin a 55 gallon. good water, gravel bottom plenty bamboo caves (my home made speciality). the past few days the fish have been laying around in hiding... abrupt change from free swimming behavior.... odd thing is i have 2 other tanks with jags and they seem to be lazy lately also.
anyone keeping these guys now or before with any insight is appreciated.

they are all
2 years old.
1 five inches 2 three inches 55 gallon
2 two inches 30 gallon
1 one inch the runt f4 stock 12gallon
Might want to invest in at least a 6 foot tank for a pair and post in the CA/SA forum. Are you sure they are all 2 years old at that size? I thought they would be close to 6-7 inches in a year....but not entirely sure. I have not kept them tbh, but have read a little bit. Hope somebody chimes in....
ive got huge ponds to move them into at some point but for now i have them in one tank in in my office under my watchful eye.... thats why i noticed their change of behavior. they still come for feeding immediately. im hoping that they pair up for breeding before i move them around.
