In cichlids, do the females release a hormone that attracts or triggers the male to breed with them? Also how long does it take for the female after she has spawned to produce more eggs? Just wondering because I just got a female dovii for my male tuesday and she spawned with my male last night. So like 3 days she has been with him and they got to it fast.
