I have given one of these guys to my friend leaving two in my tank, now these two spend 90% of the day swimming around together, eating together and theres now hardly and aggro between them.
They've healed up beautifully...
One is bigger and stockier than the other which is more slim and slender,,
they relish eating freeze dried meal worms and are absolute PIGZ....

Hope this relationship lasts between them two as theres peace within the tank and its nice to see them together:headbang2

this is them, did a water test at lfs a while ago, was told everything was fine, didnt pay attention to results,,,,never tested my water before, always had healthy good looking fish..hehe..iam lucky...
the thread above is there set up,,just crammed with plastic plants/rocks n bogwood, temps about 17-18c....
they are very active and have beautiful colouration

oh yes as you can see in the pictures,,,there together

hope they are pairing up for you , they certainly could be , you would be very lucky if they did as they do not even spend time together even in pairs in the wild , when ever there found there is only ever one , even the one and only specamin that was found holding fry in its mouth (hence how we know this species is a mouth brooder , differant to pulchra ) was found by its self. i suspect the courship is very breif and the female quickly moves on afterwards.
if your are spending a lot of time together without agro that is really good , and better than i could manage with them , mine simply tore each other apart at every oppertunity. keep us updated on them , would be really good if you whitnessed any pre spawning dances.

cheers col

yes i will keep you posted, i find it strange because how they were at first to know is so different,,,That would be crazy if they did do something,,hehe
