General Fish Health Medication?

I got my baby redtail cat today, and he is going in my 20 long soon. I am currently drip acclimating him.

He has a few dings in some fins and a little poke hole in his dorsal. Is there a recommended general fish medication to improve overall health of fish? Or is this a ridiculous request?

Any advice? Petsmart is my only option right now.

as long as there isn't extensive damage I would just give the guy a shot of stress coat and qt him in a tank with 3ppt aquarium salt for a couple weeks.

Added the right amount of salt and stress coat. I'm going to let him cruise around the 20 by himself for a while until I can get some pbass!

Turning your heater up to 82-84 will also speed up healing. Just make sure the water has plenty of aeration. Salt and frequent water changes are where it's at.
