So I have been growing planets Immersed for a while trying different ones, so far the ones I have had the best luck with are Pothos and umbrella Tree "Yes an actual Tree". SO I tried roses which sparked a heated debate.
My roses Are having lots of new growth that looks better than the old, but now the old is running yellow and dying getting all brittle. The new growth still looks great, and has a nice red tint to it. Is this normal? as i never really experienced full die off of all the original plant before now? I was thinking that maybe since the rose was not really strong before immersion that the older leafs just couldn't take the shock of rerooting and changing of nutrition level.
This is after pruning all the old dead. I am not sure if the growth will continue since I moved it from my large tank to my 55G which only has 2 fish in it, not sure if there will be enough nutrition to sustain the plant, but there was no room for the rose to grow in the large tank.
