Generic substitute for Eheim double tap valves?

They're pretty nice, but not worth $30 apiece for some plastic valves. Anybody know something I can use that will serve the same purpose? Fits 5/8" ID tubing, has a quick disconnect with isolation valves on either side.

You might look into a true union ball valve. Lowes sells some at a reasonable price although I'm not sure about 5/8th.

i cut a piece spray bar and hose clamped it in place.. when it came time to service the canister i just took the ends out of the tank... this got old since the canister was used and never worked right so i threw it away.. but it did work..

I did the union ball valve thing on my Magnum. If you want pics pm me and remind me haha. I worked well. but you only have one shut off. I just use the shut off on the hose side and carefully pick the canister up. works well, 15 bucks total
