Genus names

I was wondering if ya'll could hepl me out by letting me know of a good website or book that I could find to help me out with the genus names of some of my fish. I have been in the hobby for years but I only know the common names for my fish. I thank ya'll for all the prvious help that ya'll have given me!

A great place to start is www.fishbase.com sometimes you will have to start with the family group a whittle it down from there but it is fairly complete.

Yeah, fishbase is the best fish resource on the web, a great place to start. You can just type the common name in the search box and it will give you the latin name and tons of other info/pictures. You could also just type the common name in google, they will give you at least a few links that have the latin name.
