I have a group of 3.5-4 inch altifrons. I was wondering compatibility with an oscar? Oscar would be small say 1.5-2inches. Tank is currently a 125 but will be upgraded as my silver arowana grows and will be at least a 220 by the years end. ( bigger than that as my aro's needs increase.) thanks for your help I kept oscars as a kid and would love to have one but don't want to risk my altifrons. ( they get 10+ inches FYI )

Geos are mildly aggressive and once your Oscar reaches 5 inches , then the tables might turn against the Geos.
You might really want to reconsider your thought.

I think they'd be okay. My oscars were never that aggressive. I kept them with severums and even angelfish.

The geos are robust and active enough to hold their own. I had G. winemilleri and G. brachybranchus in a 210 with a H. psittacus and two lent pikes, and they were all fine. Pikes and psittacus are just as aggressive and large as oscars, IMO.

Oscars are aggro to each other and mostly other fish smaller than them selves (they see them as food) I'm not up on the growth rate of Altifrons but with a 4" head start if you were to add a small O to the mix IMO you would be fine. The only thing I would think about would be the high Bio load in the tank when all your fish reach adult hood.
