geo altifrons in 40breeder

i would like theses species or more of the colorful one. but do you think its possible to keep any of them in a 40gallon breeder, not just one but a few

yeah they def need a bigger tank than that they get about a foot each, not sure if there is a geo species that stays small enough to have a colony in a 40g...
 
Check out Blue Neon Gymnogeophagus, they max out at around 4 inches and are colorful. Im not sure you could do a colony but could keep a few in there I would think. There are few other variants of gymnos that stay small...

yup and they not need a heater.
 
thanks for the thoughts guys always always wanted a pack of geo's but when i did had the change i choosed a colony of frontosa astead
